The club is open for all the England International Rugby tests and the Football World Cup England games - the club will not be open 26th & 27th June though due to private functions. This Friday, the club will be open for the England v Algeria match and  Saturday, the club will be open at 11am for the England Rugby International

Message from Andrew Wilford

Pre-season training will be starting officially on 22 June @ 7.30pm but there will also be a players meeting at 7pm before hand.

However, for people that cant make it at 7pm, I will also be available after the training session to discuss what was said beforehand.

Don't forget that the club is open for a drink every Sunday throughout the Summer with a BBQ also.

 The Kent RFU AGM will be held at our clubhouse on the 7th July at 7.30pm

After much discussion between the Web Geeks we are switching our web site to Pitchero. To prevent every Tom, Dick and Harry and various web weevils from accessing the new site and making your new Web surfing experience a less than pleasurable one, you will need to register to the new site. Vigo stumbled to defeat in a match marred by some poor officiating. Vigo were left fuming at some poor decisions that they felt cost them the game, with knock ons and offside undetected in the lead up to two of the home sides tries.

On a miserable cold afternoon, HSBC, struggling at the foot of the table pulled off a shock win over an uninspired Vigo outfit. Vigo could draw little inspiration from a good crowd swelled by a Vice Presidents Luncheon, spurning several chances to score either try or from kicks at goal. The crowd at first were excited by the incredible news about a car bombing at this sleepy village. And really, that was as exciting as it got. HSBC came to Harvel, desperate for points looking at relegation. Perhaps, Vigo thought it would be easy, perhaps the assembled ‘old farts’ made them nervous. Whatever. The cold wind was bitter, driving some spectators into the warmth of the Clubhouse.  Those that braved the whole match were left ruminating on whether sticking needles into various orifices might have made for a better afternoon.
