The club is open for all the England International Rugby tests and the Football World Cup England games - the club will not be open 26th & 27th June though due to private functions. This Friday, the club will be open for the England v Algeria match and  Saturday, the club will be open at 11am for the England Rugby International

Message from Andrew Wilford

Pre-season training will be starting officially on 22 June @ 7.30pm but there will also be a players meeting at 7pm before hand.

However, for people that cant make it at 7pm, I will also be available after the training session to discuss what was said beforehand.

Don't forget that the club is open for a drink every Sunday throughout the Summer with a BBQ also.

 The Kent RFU AGM will be held at our clubhouse on the 7th July at 7.30pm

After much discussion between the Web Geeks we are switching our web site to Pitchero. Vigo roared back to form, beating a below par Hospitals side and dispelling any lingering fears of relegation. For once, Vigo could field a near strength side, and although not back to a full complement in the backs, everyone played with commitment to record a fine win.

MAIDSTONE 4TH XV 5 VIGO A XV 6

Vigo continued their recent improvement with a narrow win over a youthful Maidstone 4th XV. Maidstone, whilst not fielding their usual team of experienced 4th teamers turned out a very useful side, full of know-how and artfulness, especially at the breakdown. To blame this defeat on refereeing errors would be an expedient, to blame it on lack of players a mitigation, to applaud a committed home team looking nervously at relegation would be fair. However, all three reasons combined in this match. Vigo fielded virtually a second team, and the writing was on the wall in the first minute  when the excellent home full back, Neil Page simply gassed through a gap in Vigo’s defence on his own 22 metre line sprinted to the try line leaving a bemused Vigo defence in its wake to score.
